What it pays to be respectful.

  • You need to be respectful to other teachers and other kids
  • You need to look at the speaker and listen to the speaker
  • You need to do what the teacher says

What is Wind?

Wind is a air that can cool a place down when it's really hot. Wind could make you sweat like the Norwester in Canterbury.

Where there is a strong wind it means the air is moving quickly. Strong winds are mostly called gales or cyclones and can bring rain, hail and snow.

We get wind so we can breathe. Some places are warmer than others. The warm air heats up becomes light and rises and the cool air moves to replace it. Winds are named after the direction they come from - northerly southerly etc.
As well as cooling us down. Wind is used to produce energy using things like windmills and wind turbines. What would you use air for?

Devil's punchbowl

As I walked up the hill I saw a cool view at the view point. A magnificent waterfall named Devil's punchbowl. As the water fell I felt the brezze coming though my face. It was sweaty at first, but as I cooled down I felt new. after the frezzing water I felt I was in a ice block my whole body shivered water as I walk out I was frezzing I stay out in the sun until I was dry. and as I walked back I stared at the punchbowl till I had to go.
